Best AI tools for finance teams in 2026
Most finance AI now lives inside the system that moves the money: your card platform, bill pay or procurement tool. The choice is about which system of record you want, and whether you need help across all of them.

How we chose
We make BeforeQuery, so it's listed first; weigh that. Every other product is described from its own public website, checked on 6 October 2026, with the pages linked at the end. We've tried to say plainly where each one is the better choice.
- Saves the finance team chasing time: receipts, approvals, close tasks.
- A person stays in control of anything that moves money.
- Works with your card, bill-pay and accounting tools.
- Clear on what it stores (card and bank data especially).
- Clear pricing model.

How to choose
- Decide first which system should move your money: cards, bill pay and procurement are different tools.
- Check where a person must confirm before money moves, and whether any agent approves on its own.
- If you already have the systems you want, look for help across them rather than a new system.
- Ask what card and bank data each tool stores.

Book a demoQuestions
Should AI approve expenses on its own?
Some tools auto-approve low-risk spend within rules you set (Ramp's Policy Agent, Brex's Review Agent). Moving money should always need a person's confirmation.
Do I need to switch card provider to use AI?
No. Card platforms include their own AI, and tools like BeforeQuery work across the systems you already have.
